End Of The Road by samuelkowal906 End Of The Road by samuelkowal906
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-F comes across the lifeless carcass of it's predecessor the Enterprise E.

The "F" is almost there, but I am not entireley done with the model (things like the impulse engines are a little messed up) and im probably going to do a few more tweaks to it.

Made in Lightwave 9 and Photoshop CS3

Poor Enterprise-E! She was too beautiful to deserve this! *plays Amazing Grace for her*

Funny enough, the Enterprise E looked a lot worse after the battle with the Scimitar... i guess when they put it back together they didn`t make it as sturdy to save time?
Still, i can`t get myself to like the four-nacelled Enterprise F... but its better than some fanmade designs. At least its semi-canon.

Did Piccard die on board the E?

Cool model of the E and F.

I never liked the e design.

I loved D over all the models.

Really? I have usually found that the E-D is the most peoples least favorite. Personally, I like it as well.

Thank you for the compliment.

Sweet!!! Star Trek, gotta love the show... Even though they did a way better on the Episode two and three Star Destroyers in Star Wars... Federation ships are still pretty awesome... :w00t:

lol.. sorry.. it had to happen at some point!! :P

actually, the real reason is i couldnt figure out a legitimate way to get the E-F and E-E in the same pic without it being to corny sounding lol.

I guess I just hate the idea of the E getting lost like that... I can't see Picard's career ending by just getting lost and destroyed and no one knowing about it.
Also, I love the sovereign class design.

Well, consider the Enterprise NCC-1701 (as scotty would say, no bloody A, B, C, or D)

After the retrofit, it was under the command of another captain for quite a bit of time before switching back to Kirk.

What I'm trying to say is, like ships today, the ship's service life will be far LOOONNGGGER than the captain's service life. So it could've been easily picard have moved on, gain the rank of admiral and E was under command of another captain when it was destroyed.

Well, according to the comic book prequels to the new movie, you're exactly right. Data's memories were restored in B4 and he was promoted to captain of the Enterprise while Picard became an ambassador. Go figure!

well, in the backstory i made for the enterprise f, the enterprise e was lost and presumed destroyed, but never recovered. in a freak coincidence (lol those never happen in star trek) the enterprise f stumbles upon the destroyed remnants of the enterprise e.

something like that.
